Frequently Asked Questions

Where are your parrots raised?

All our parrots are raised in a clean, controlled, and nurturing environment under professional supervision. Each bird receives daily socialization, premium nutrition, and veterinary care to ensure they grow strong, healthy, and friendly before adoption.

Are your parrots hand-tamed and trained?

Yes. Every parrot from ParrotPro Breeders is hand-fed and socialized from an early age. This makes them gentle, friendly, and comfortable with human interaction — perfect for families, first-time owners, and breeders alike.

Do you offer a health guarantee?

Absolutely. Every parrot comes with a 14-day health guarantee covering communicable diseases. We also provide a vet health certificate and vaccination records. To maintain the guarantee, we recommend your bird be examined by an avian veterinarian within 72 hours of arrival.

Do you ship parrots across the country?

Yes. We provide nationwide and international shipping through licensed, USDA-approved animal carriers. Parrots are shipped in climate-controlled crates with food, hydration, and care to ensure safe arrival. We’ll also send you tracking information and delivery updates.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept: PayPal (Friends & Family preferred) Zelle, Cash App, and Bank Transfer Credit/Debit Card via secure checkout All payments must clear before your parrot is released for pickup or delivery.

Can I reserve a parrot before it’s ready?

Yes! You can place a non-refundable deposit to reserve your desired parrot. This ensures the bird is held for you until it’s fully weaned and ready to go home.

What age are parrots available for adoption?

We only release parrots once they are fully weaned, socialized, and vet-checked — typically between 10–16 weeks old depending on the breed. We never sell un-weaned or un-socialized parrots.

What should I expect when my parrot arrives?

You’ll receive: A vet health certificate Feeding and care instructions A DNA certificate (for applicable species) A purchase confirmation and care starter guide Your bird may need a short adjustment period — provide quiet time, fresh water, and familiar food upon arrival.

What if my parrot appears stressed or refuses to eat?

It’s normal for parrots to feel nervous in a new environment. Keep noise low, minimize handling for a day or two, and offer fresh fruits and seeds. If symptoms persist beyond 48 hours, contact a certified avian veterinarian immediately.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

For health and safety reasons, returns are only accepted under specific conditions. Please refer to our Policy Page for detailed information on refunds and exchanges.

What types of parrots do you breed?

We specialize in healthy, hand-tamed species such as: African Grey Parrots Macaws Cockatoos Amazon Parrots Eclectus Parrots Cockatiels Conures Lovebirds and more Each species is raised for optimal temperament, color, and talking potential.

How do I know I’m buying from a legitimate breeder?

At ParrotPro Breeders, transparency is our foundation. We provide verifiable health and DNA documents. Every bird is microchipped or banded before delivery. You’ll receive photos, videos, and progress updates throughout the process. We encourage buyers to ask questions and connect directly with us before purchasing.
